Answer 6 out of 8 questions correctly.

Magnets are objects or materials that produce a magnetic field. Magnets are all around us, from tiny magnets in speakers to giant magnets in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines. Even Earth itself acts as a massive magnet!
There are three types of magnets.
A permanent magnet always generates its own magnetic field. A bar magnet is a permanent magnet.
A temporary magnet generates a magnetic field only when in the presence of another magnetic field. Metal paper clips become temporary magnets when in contact with another magnet.
An electromagnet uses an electric current to generate a magnetic field. Most electromagnets consist of a wire wrapped around an iron core.
Match each type of magnet to its example.

A refrigerator magnet always sticks to the refrigerator door.
When in contact with a magnet, an iron nail is able to attract other iron nails.
A coil of wire is connected to a battery and a switch. When the switch is on, the coil of wire attracts a metal paper clip.
