Laura works as a beekeeper. She wondered where she should put her beehives to produce the most honey. She learned that bees can see purple but struggle to see red. So, she predicted that beehives placed near purple flowers would produce the most honey. Laura placed one beehive in a bed of purple lavender and a second beehive in a bed of red roses. After three months, she collected honey from each hive. Laura discovered that the beehive in the bed of lavender produced more honey than the beehive in the bed of roses.
